Advertisers should avoid unsupported superlatives, misleading claims, and statements that cannot be substantiated.
-
Property Descriptions
Property descriptions must be:
- Accurate and relevant.
- Written in clear language.
- Consistent with the actual property.
- Free from deceptive or materially misleading claims.
- Updated when important information changes.
Advertisers should disclose relevant limitations, such as incomplete construction, restricted access, shared facilities, or additional charges, where applicable.
Do not claim that a property has a feature, approval, title, or amenity unless the claim is accurate and can be substantiated.
-
Property Photos and Media
Advertisers must upload photographs and media that they own, have permission to use, or are otherwise authorised to publish.
Photo guidelines
- Use clear, relevant, and recent images.
- Show the actual property where possible.
- Avoid misleading image manipulation.
- Do not use another person’s property images without permission.
- Do not upload images containing private documents or unnecessary personal information.
- Do not include offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
JejaRealty may remove images that violate this policy or applicable intellectual property rights.
-

Advertisers must provide accurate pricing information and clearly communicate relevant charges.
Examples include:
- Sale price.
- Monthly rental amount.
- Rental advance requirements, where applicable.
- Service or maintenance charges.
- Agency fees.
- Other compulsory costs, where applicable.
Advertisers must not use artificially low prices to attract enquiries while concealing material charges or offering a different property.
If a price is negotiable, this should be communicated clearly.
Example
Monthly Rent: GHS 3,500
Additional Charges: [Insert accurate applicable charges]
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that displayed pricing complies with applicable requirements.
-
Ownership, Authority, and Documentation
Advertisers must not list property without the necessary authority to advertise it.
Depending on the property and transaction, advertisers may need to provide or substantiate relevant information, such as:
- Ownership or authority to act.
- Land or property documentation.
- Relevant permits or approvals, where applicable.
- Correct property location.
- Accuracy of advertised claims.
Listing publication is not proof of ownership or legal title.
JejaRealty may request supporting information or documentation as part of its moderation or verification procedures. The platform’s actual verification process, if any, must be explained separately.
-

The following listing practices are prohibited:
